CAS, NSFC leaders meet for communications

The 2007 annual meeting for communications between CAS and the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) was held on 18 December in Beijing. It was attended by a 20-strong delegation led by CAS Executive Vice President BAI Chunli and a party of NSFC senior officials headed by NSFC President CHEN Yiyu.

    At the meeting, NSFC Vice Secretary-General HE Minghong gave a talk on NSFC funding profiles in 2007 while Director-General of the CAS Bureau of Basic Research LI Ding made a presentation on basic research at CAS.
